Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) granted education loans to two students which will enable them pursue their tertiary studies abroad.SUCCC Secretary-General Datuk Jimmy Tham Yuk Leong said the entity’s education loans have benefited many poor students previously who may otherwise not be able to enrol in higher learning institutions due to financial constraints.
“SUCCC believes that poverty should not be a hindrance to education. We aspire to help these outstanding students to realise their dream of pursuing tertiary education at a higher level,” he said in a statement.
