TAWAU: Police here detained a pensioner who allegedly posed as a health officer to collect donations meant for a Senior Citizen’s Day celebration which doesn’t exist.The same individual is also believed to have pulled a similar trick last year.
District Police Chief ACP Peter Umbuas said police confiscated a Health Ministry’s maroon colour corporate shirt and a backpack from the 51-year-old who was nabbed at Taman Apas Permai at 11.38pm.
