GRS promises PetroSabah Fund, religious freedom

Kota Kinabalu: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) which comprises Perikatan Nasional (PN), Barisan Nasional (BN) and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), pledged to preserve and continue to fight for the rights of Sabah under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) if it forms the new State Government.   It also pledged to form a State Legislative Assembly special committee related to rights of Sabah as well as a Sabah Petroleum Council and Petrosabah Fund for the future generations of Sabahans.

These are among the nine pledges in its manifesto themed “Sayangi Sabah (Love Sabah)”, in the form of “Aku Janji” (I Pledge), launched by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at Magellan Sutera Resort and Spa, Wednesday.
