Kota Kinabalu: The United Sabah National Organisation’s (Usno) would-be candidate for the Petagas seat has lodged a police report over his disqualification for bankruptcy during the recent nomination.Jivol @ Edmund Doudilim (pic), 62, said there is highly suspicious information on his financial status search certificate that led to his disqualification by the Election Commission – the first in the Sabah Sept. 26 election.
“It is imperative on my part to issue this statement in order to set the record straight and to enable all my friends, business associates, relatives and members of the public to judge for themselves whether I am a victim of some foul play.
“My purported bankruptcy induced disqualification had been widely broadcast throughout Malaysia,” he said.
