Kota Kinabalu: A Kota Belud resident lamented the lack of responses from many parties concerning what he said was an improper hill-cutting project causing mud flood that hit his house and surrounding areas in June.

Lim Yet Yan said a police report was lodged on the June 27 mud flood which inundated his house, clogged drains and destroyed plants and access road to his house in Kg Lebak Moyoh.

Lim said complaints were made to the Kota Belud District Officer, Kota Belud MP Munirah Majilis through the Chinese kapitan, District Council and Land Revenue Assistant Collector, but nobody bothered to respond.
