Tuaran: Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said the Sabah Government must move in the same direction as Federal if it wants to progress.“As a Menteri Besar I truly understand this situation. A State Government will not be able to function and provide the best services to the people if we are not moving in the same direction with the Federal Government.
“It is truly difficult. For example, when we were hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, when the Movement Control Order (MCO) was enforced, we find it was assistance from Federal that is sought by the people, while our State Government only managed to come up with about RM100 million," he said.
