Kota Kinabalu: Eight former employees of a company filed a leave for judicial review at the High Court here against the termination of their employment.The applicants Velarie Leslie Harry, Mohd Razali Burham, Muslimat Abjad, Nur Hamid Mohd Zainal, Hisham Ahmad, Abd Shabah Basarah, Noddy Leonardus, and Johaney Victor named Malaysia Airports Berhad (MAB), Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHD) and Ministry of Transport as the first, second and third respondents, respectively.
The first to sixth applicants, who were previously auxiliary policemen and the seventh and eight applicants, who were previously a civil engineer and a fireman, respectively are seeking an order of certiorari to quash the decision of the second respondents to terminate their employment by way of letter dated July 23.
