NABAWAN: With five days left to the 16th Sabah election, both the grand coalitions involved – Warisan-Plus and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah – expressed confidence in being able to earn the mandate to form the next State Government. Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, who is also Parti Warisan Sabah President, said his observations in the various constituencies he visited showed the people still strongly supported Warisan-Plus.
He said the Upko, DAP and Warisan coalition would determine who would be in power come Sept. 26.
