Kota Kinabalu: A total of 4,038 personal care items worth RM5,992, believed to be counterfeit, were seized in an operation here on Sept 18 and 19.Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) Sabah Director Georgie Abas said the operation involved 20 KPDNHEP enforcement officers and a representative of the owner of the registered trademarks involved.
He said seven case actions were taken during the operation after initial investigation by the representative found that the goods were suspected to be counterfeit.
