Kota Kinabalu: The flooding in some parts of the Lido and Luyang area will be over once the construction of the flood control gates together with their associated pump houses situated in the Petagas (for Lido) and in the Sembulan Muis Complex (for Luyang) are completed.Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan) Luyang candidate, Datuk Hiew King Cheu said the work has started.
He said this is to clarify the comment made by certain quarters that the work to resolve the problem of flood during high rain was not dealt with.
