Kota Kinabalu: Warisan’s candidate for Tanjung Aru, Datuk Junz Wong (pic), took up the advice of LDP President and Api-Api candidate Datuk Chin Su Phin to verify with Penampang District Council on the legality of a wall blocking an access road to and from Lido Plaza.The wall was built next to Chin’s house, and there are landscape plants beautifying the foot of the wall.
In a press conference at his service centre in Tanjung Aru Wednesday, Junz said the Penampang District Council, in a letter dated Sept 22 signed by its Executive Officer Jonathan J. Lindua, replied to the developer Glowbest Sdn Bhd (which did not construct the wall) that the road reserve Jalan Lido Plaza under its approved development plan (No. PLA/0901/DP/01) indicated that it is to be linked with Lorong Juta.
