TAWAU: Independent candidate for N. 69 Sri Tanjong Chung Yaw Vui (pic) challenged all political parties contesting in the state election to promise and undertake that they will declare and make public all the financial statements of their constituencies showing how they utilised all the development funds they received from the State Government.Chung a lawyer who is using the clock symbol said all development funds from the State Government are meant for the people and they have the right to know how the money was used.
“On my part, if elected as the independent candidate for Sri Tanjong, I will come clean on how I use all development funds that I may receive from the State Government.
“I will not misuse or embezzle any public funds. I will declare and make public my bank statements,” he told reporters.
