Sabahans encouraged to go out and vote: Minister

Kota Kinabalu: Sabahans are encouraged to go out and vote in the 16th State election tomorrow (Saturday) while adhering to the Covid-19 prevention guidelines as disseminated by the Malaysian Information Department (JaPen).

Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said JaPen had launched an Info On Wheels (IOW) “Jom Mengundi” (Let’s Vote) programme to encourage more people to carry out their responsibility as voters.

“Just today alone, the Jom Mengundi programme is implemented at several locations here, namely Pasar Donggongon, Pekan Putatan and Taman Jumbo, Petagas,” he told a press conference after the IOW Jom Mengundi programme, here, Thursday.
