Federation donates more equipment for Tawau hospital

TAWAU: The Federation of Chinese Associations Tawau (FCAT), Friday, donated an additional five units of Philips Efficia CM10 5-Patient Parameter Monitor which cost about RM90,000 (RM18,000 each) to the Tawau hospital to tackle the steep rise in Covid-19 cases.Its chairman Datuk Dr Lim Teck Kiong hoped this contribution could improve the facility at the Tawau hospital and benefit patients, especially those suffering from Covid-19, adding that the five units of Patient Parameter Monitor would be placed at the Covid-19 ward and the emergency unit.

Lim told reporters after handing over the equipment to Tawau hospital Deputy Director, Dr Azman Ibrahim.
FCAT also had donated five units of the Patient Parameter Monitor to the Tawau hospital before Hari Raya, this year.
