KALABAKAN: The Barisan Nasional’s (BN) sole woman candidate contesting in the Kukusan seat, Chaya Sulaiman, lost to Rina Jainal (pic) of Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) by just 10 votes.In the six-cornered fight, Chaya, 60, garnered 2,824 votes while Rina, 39, earned 2,834 votes.
Voter turnout in the constituency was reported at 53.97 per cent from 12,640 registered voters.
