TAWAU: Sabah Softwoods Berhad (SSB) presented assistance to the frontline staff at Kubota Health Clinic as a token of appreciation.
SSB Corporate Communications Manager, Sahruddin Paidi, who represented the company, said they are concerned about the frontline team following the sudden increase in the number of Covid-19 infections, here, recently.
“Various groups have contributed to the country’s frontline team in curbing the spread of the Covid-19 and SSB too did not want to miss out the opportunity,” he said.
Donations were presented in the form of food, fruits, biscuits and drinks to the Covid-19 Team Leader of Kubota Health Clinic, Dr Syazlan Mohd Isa, with his team.
Sahruddin said the challenging and scary task was putting the frontline team at a very high risk of contracting the disease.
Therefore, he hoped that his corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities could help ease their burden while on duty.
At the same time, he called for the cooperation of all parties to play a role in jointly stopping the chain of transmission of the pandemic, as well as to provide assistance to national heroes.
