Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded two new Covid-19 clusters in Sandakan and 73 cases mostly in the Bangau-Bangau cluster, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday,
There were 51 new cases in the Bangau-Bangau cluster, eight symptomatic screening cases, three new cases in the new Jalan Bomba cluster, two in the Benteng cluster, two in the Quarters cluster, two new cases in the new Jalan Utara cluster, one hospital referral case, one close contact case, one health worker, one community screening case and one case from the peninsula.
There was also one new case in the Jalan Apas cluster in Selangor whose two index patients had Sabah travel history, said the ministry.
States recording new cases with Sabah travel history were Selangor (nine cases), Kuala Lumpur (one), Kelantan (one), Kedah (one), Melaka (one), Perak (one), Penang (one), Perlis (one) and Putrajaya (one).
