PENAMPANG: A senior citizen cum regular patron to Donggongon eating shops here, Raphael S, has lodged a police report urging the Health Department to conduct more inspections at all restaurants in town to ensure the smoking ban is upheld.
He did so after an encounter with an aggressive customer who felt everyone had the right to smoke at restaurants and the no-smoking applies only to the kitchen.

Raphael said he and a friend are forced to sit at far away from others, both to comply with the current Covid19 SOP and to avoid smokers. However, some smokers insist on sitting nearby and start puffing away as if purposely to show their defiance to the law.
