TAWAU: Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (PHRS) President Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah
(pic) called on the Federal Government to expedite the distribution of aid, including medical infrastructure and medical officers to the four red zones (Tawau, Semporna, Lahad Datu and Kunak) in the East Coast of Sabah due to the steep rise of Covid-19 cases.
Liew said Tawau hospital had been facing shortage of patient placement, infrastructure and manpower (doctors and medical officers) from the very beginning and he believed the hospital could no longer cope if the number of Covid-19 cases kept increasing by the day.
