Tenom: The people of Kemabong requested that the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-led Government led by Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor appoints Kemabong Assemblyman Datuk Rubin Balang as a Minister or at least an Assistant Minister.Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Division Information Deputy Head, Ansabung Kulayah (pic) said that this is so that Rubin can represent the Murut community in the Cabinet.
He said Rubin who won the Kemabong State seat on an independent ticket contributed to the GRS seats along with two other independent candidates namely Datuk Masiung Banah (Kuamut) and Rudy Awah (Pitas).
