Papar, Sandakan, Tuaran schools closed Oct 8-23
Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Education has announced that schools in the nation's red zones including in Sabah will be closed due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A statement from the ministry today said all schools in Klang, Selangor and in Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran will be closed on Oct 8-23.

The decision involves 142 schools in Klang and 242 schools in the three Sabah districts. All are government and private schools registered with the ministry.

Students lodging at school hostels can be taken home by their parents or stay there throughout the closure during which their meals will be provided by the schools.
