Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 282 new Covid-19 cases, more than half the national daily caseload of 489 cases on Wednesday.The cases were detected in Kota Kinabalu (57), Sandakan (52), Semporna (42), Tuaran (41), Papar (20), Tawau (14), Kota Belud (9), Lahad Datu (8), Penampang (7), Putatan (7), Ranau (5), Kuala Penyu (5), Sipitang (4), Tambunan (3), Keningau (3), Kunak (3) and Beaufort (2).
A total of 183 of Sabah’s cases were community screening cases, 71 symptomatic screening cases, 22 close contacts, two in the Laut cluster, two hospital admission screening cases, one hospital referral case, one pre-surgery case and one detainee.
