Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran topped today's Covid-19 caseload with 56 cases followed by Sandakan which registered 48 new cases, an update from the State Covid-19 Disaster Management Committee showed.
Other red zones of the disease that showed double-digit increases were Tawau (39), Kota Kinabalu (34), Lahad Datu (17) and Papar (11). Red zones that recorded single-digit rises were Penampang (8), Putatan (9) and Kunak (5).
Some yellow zones also received new patients namely Keningau (1), Beaufort (5), Sipitang (1), Beluran (1), Kudat (1) and Kuala Penyu (1). Nabawan and Tongod remained Sabah's only green zones.
A district is a green zone if it has no active Covid-19 cases, a yellow zone if it has one to 39 cases and a red zone if 40 or more cases.
