Kota Kinabalu: Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) Sec-Gen Ansari Abdullah said the party has decided not to contest in the Batu Sapi Parliamentary by-election which must be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the country’s Constitution and Law.

 “For us, the lives and the safety of the people outweigh all political considerations. Sabah is suffering from a severe Covid-19 virus infection and it is clear that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the Ministry of Health for the 16th State Election has failed to curb the spread of the virus,” he said in a statement.
