LABUAN: The island’s vibrant and exciting night life went into darkness since last March when the thirty odd pubs and bars on the duty-free island were forced to switch of their neons following the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19.Over the past months, the situation improved and the MCO was relaxed accordingly in areas where the coronavirus threat was seen as less alarming.
An increasing number of business were allowed to reopen on condition of continued adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
