Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Fish Marketing Sdn Bhd (Safma) will be closed for two weeks starting Oct. 11 following the increase in Covid-19 cases here.“The closure is the result of an agreement with the Kota Kinabalu Fishing Boat Owners Association (KKFBOA) after it was found that some of the fishing boat owners and their employees tested positive for Covid-19,” Safma General Manager, Amir Bangsa Ahmad (pic), said in a statement, Sunday.
He said the temporary closure also provides space for fishermen and other employees to carry out self-quarantine.
