Tuaran: Tuaran Athletics Club (TAC) hopes the government will include an indoor stadium in the currently in-progress Tuaran Stadium.

Its president Victor Suan who is also Tuaran Sukma/Para-Sukma coach said, such facility is much needed so that athletes can train under any weather conditions.

“I congratulate Datuk Ellron Angin for his appointment as the new Youth and Sports Minister, and I hope the needs of the sporting community in the district can be looked into,” he said.

“I hope Tuaran and Sabah will become superior in athletics. To this end, we need a suitable training facility to further boost the development of young athletes.”

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
Suan also hoped the Ministry will also look into the preparation of athletes, especially 2021 Sukma-bound athletes, during the pandemic.

“Coaches, like me, and athletes are really committed and high-spirited to bring Sabah’s name to a higher level, but the training sessions were affected due to Covid-19.
