Lucky escape for Dmax driver

TAWAU: An Isuzu Dmax was badly damaged after crashing into the back of a lorry carrying fertiliser along Jalan Apas, 3.45pm, Monday.

However, both drivers aged 40 and 60, respectively, survived unscathed.

Tawau police chief ACP Peter Ambuas said, the accident happened when the lorry was heading to Tawau from Kota Kinabalu, while the Dmax was also from the same direction.

He said, the Dmax driver crashed into the back of the lorry when the lorry driver wanted to enter the left junction at KM22, Jalan Apas.
