Labuan under CMCO on Oct 17-30: Ismail Sabri
Kota Kinabalu: Labuan will be placed under the Conditional Movement Control Order to curb Covid-19 on Oct 17-30, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Ismail said economic activities on the island can remain open, people can travel through Labuan Airport with police permits and the RoRo Ferry, Express Ferry and speedboat services can operate until 6pm with limited capacity to allow for physical distancing.

Non-conventional ships such as kumpits from neighbouring nations for barter trade and exit/entry into the island will be banned , he said.

Mosques and suraus can hold daily and Friday prayers but the matter will be brought to the Islamic authority for the King's blessing, while other places of worship can allow in six worshippers.
