Kota Kinabalu: A huge quantity of cigarettes reportedly smuggled into Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur from Malaysia and Indonesia were seized and confiscated by operatives of the Philippine Navy last week.The contraband cigarettes worth Php 10 million (RM855,307) were packed in 300 master cases.
A team from the Philippine Navy seized the illegal items aboard a fishing boat that sailed to Pagadian City from neighbouring Sulu province.
