BEAUFORT: Residents of Kg Limbawang are urging the Government to install streetlights along the village’s roads as the darkness at night poses a risk to the people.A resident, who wishes to be known as Fauziah, said it gets very dark at night especially around the village’s mosque and a nearby roundabout.
“This is dangerous to pedestrians. We can’t see clearly and are also worried that there may be snakes coming out from the bushes,” she told Daily Express.
She said streetlights are a basic necessity for the villagers so that they could visit and return from the mosque safely.
