Kuala Lumpur: The government has allowed gymnasiums in the areas under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) to resume operations in compliance with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the National Security Council (MKN), effective from Monday.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic) said the government also allowed sports activities at commercial football fields and futsal centres, but only for the purpose of training subject to 10 participants at a time.

“Further announcements on SOPs will be informed by KBS in the near future,” he said at a virtual press conference via the Ministry of Defence’s Facebook.
