BELURAN: Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the private sector especially those that are involved in plantation and fishery industry in Sabah are urged to provide medical and health equipment in hospitals and clinics as well as provide the needs of frontliners handling the Covid-19 crisis.

Rural Development Assistant Minister Samad Jamri said this is to ensure that the government’s efforts in curbing the spread of Covid-19 in the State could be attained following a sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 cases since early this month.

He said it is also to allow the indentation graph to be flattened as well as to reduce the number of positive cases.
