Kota Kinabalu: Sabah does not need to have its own Health Minister as the post holds no power to oversee health matters in the State, said Local Government and Housing Minister cum Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic).He said, in fact, health matters related to the Covid-19 pandemic were previously handled by the Sabah Covid-19 Command Centre, and not by the previous government’s Health and People’s Wellbeing Ministry.
“Actually what we are doing now is not far from what was done before (under Warisan). It’s just that this time we do not have a Health Minister.
