YPC helps stranded private college students in KK

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 300 students from five private colleges here, Monday, received food baskets from the Youth-Prep Centre (YPC) to help them tide over the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period.

The food basket comprising rice, eggs, canned food, cooking oil, sauce, biscuits and Milo were distributed to the private college students living in the vicinity of Alamesra, Putatan, Likas and Kota Kinabalu.

“As with the Movement Control Order (MCO) in April, there is a sizeable group of tertiary students stranded in their accommodation in Kota Kinabalu who are not able to return to their villages due to a number of reasons,” said Dwana Kosidi, Senior Programme Officer of YPC.
