Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s top squash player Lai Wen Li is relishing the chance to train under Australian former World Number One David Palmer after being accepted into Cornell University in the United States.
The 20-year-old has been named in the New York’s based University women’s squash team, which also featured fellow Malaysian and national number two Sivasangari Subramaniam.

“I will be training under former World Number One David Palmer and also coach Mark Burke in the States. It is a great opportunity for me and I’m really looking forward to work with them soon. Hopefully I could learn more from them,” she said on Monday.
