Kota Kinabalu: SME Association of Sabah called on the State Government to meet with commercial bank branches in Sabah to expedite decisions on moratorium extension and repayment assistance options.Its President Foo Ngee Kee (pic) said it would be up to the State Government to put pressure on commercial banks to extend the loan moratorium period and greater repayment assistance.
“With this meeting, the bank branches in Sabah will relay the Sabah Government’s views and requests to their head offices in Kuala Lumpur to provide speedy decisions on Sabah SMEs applications for the extension of loan moratorium and better options for repayment assistance.
