He said the Public Work Department (PWD) confirmed this to him and urged the motorists not to worry when using the said bridge.

“There is no need to worry because the bridge is still in good condition and strong. It only needs a bit of repairs to prevent further erosion. Works to repair the bridge abutment will be carried out,” he said in a statement Wednesday.
