SANDAKAN: Sandakan Indian Association (SIA) President Taren Sunil Manoharan (pic) appealed for clearer guidelines on SOPs and other rules applicable to the various stages of the Movement Control Order, the latest being the CMCO enforced in Sandakan which is a Red Zone area.“From feedback, many people are still confused with all the different sets of rules and SOPs under the different stages of the MCO. I have been receiving a lot of phone calls from members of the public, especially businessmen and restaurant operators, asking for clarifications and advice,” said Taren.
He expressed his concern that the constant changes and updates of the rules and SOPs had left the business community as well as the public reeling in utter confusion and affecting their businesses and income which have already been devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
