Kota Kinabalu: Positive cases in Sabah soared by 361 cases on Saturday – the highest so far –bringing the figure to 889 with nearly half it coming from the Kepayan Prisons Cluster.Of this, 500 are from clusters including two new clusters identified in Sandakan – Mesra Cluster (22 cases) and Megah Cluster (15 cases).
While 253 cases are from screening results from Covid-19 positive close contacts and 136 contributed by other Covid-19 screenings.
However, Sabah also recorded the highest deaths on Saturday with a total of six out of the seven deaths recorded nationwide.
