Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno welcomes the decision by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong not to declare a state of emergency in Malaysia. Its Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said his party also upheld His Majesty’s decision in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak and threat.

(pic), who is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah said the political split need to be stopped immediately when the country is facing the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in Sabah which shows a very worrying development.

“Currently, we need to work together regardless of the government or the opposition to jointly fight the re-transmission of the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused a halt to economic recovery efforts,” he said.
