Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) called on the State Government to allocate a budget to utilise idle hotels as temporary isolation treatment centres. Its Deputy President Datuk Chua Soon Ping (pic) said this follows the State’s alarming rate of hospital bed utilisation which is currently at 95 per cent.
Additionally, he said Government needs to consider cooperating with hotels and restaurants to ease the economic downfall caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
