Kota Kinabalu: Former Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) said he welcomed the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) probe into Sabah Development Bank’s (SDB) RM300 million loan to AirAsia, saying there is nothing to hide.“As a former Chief Minister and Finance Minister nothing is hidden or concealed behind the loan because the appeal was not made overnight.
“Rather, SDB had done a thorough investigation and consideration before approval was granted,” he said in a statement, Wednesday.
