Kota Kinabalu: Firefighters managed to rescue two women who were trapped on the fifth floor when Block A of the 12-storey Karamunsing Complex building caught fire at 5.45pm, Wednesday. Several floors caught fire causing thick smoke to rise up to the 10th floor. It was initially noticed by a security guard on patrol who saw a cloud of smoke on the first floor of the block and contacted the fire department (pic).
