Kota Kinabalu: Police seized 794 units of gel blaster imitation firearms worth RM15,450 in two “Op Laras” raids in Inanam and Penampang on Tuesday. Eight people were detained, including two Chinese citizens.State Criminal Investigation Department Head SAC Jauteh Dikun said the raids were carried out based on tip offs by the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) and Special Branch teams from Sabah Police Contingent (IPK) at 3pm.
“The first raid was carried out at a toy shop in Inanam Juta believed to be storing and selling imitation firearms without a licence.
