RM3.2 million aid for Muslims

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis) has provided RM3.2 million allocation under its Covid-19 Special Assistance Phase III for the State Disaster Management Committee for Covid 19, State Health Department and hospitals, mosques, religious workers and asnaf throughout the State.

Special Tasks Minister Datuk Arifin Mohd Arif said this after he witnessed three presentations of the special assistance held at Wisma Muis here early Tuesday.

The first presentation of one-off RM300,000 was to be distributed to 100 selected mosques throughout Sabah to enable these mosques to provide basic necessities for the asnaf in their respective areas, while the second one-off of RM100,000, was for 200 Mesra Ibadah workers to deal with the pandemic.
