Kota Kinabalu: Churchgoers, especially Roman Catholic faithful, are urged to skip their yearly visit to burial grounds on All Souls’ Day next week.

In its official Facebook (FB) account, the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish in Kota  Kinabalu said the appeal is to help the government and the Ministry of Health to prevent any further possible coronavirus infection among people in Sabah.

“Please note that visits to the cemetery during this time and especially on the Nov 2is strongly discouraged to prevent large numbers from congregating and thus curbing the spread of the disease. Your cooperation is very much appreciated,” the FB post said.
