SANDAKAN: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) Sandakan branch issued 116 compounds worth RM 57,300 to traders here for various offences between Jan 1 and Oct 15.Its Chief Mohamad Hashim said it is among the 130 cases reported during the period.
Of the 130 cases, 123 cases have been completed and the rest are still under investigation involving various Acts that include the Supply Control Act 1961, Trade Descriptions Act 2011, Weights and Measures Act 1972 and Price Control & Anti-Profiteering Act 2011.
