TELUPID: A 53-year-old man collapsed and died, believed due to stroke, while withdrawing money at a shop which also acts as a bank agent, here, at noon, Wednesday.

Beluran District Police Chief, Supt Kasim Muda, said Jasliy Dariau was reported to be in the midst of doing money withdrawal at the said shop in town when he suddenly collapsed at 12.38pm and other clients who saw it called Telupid Health Clinic for assistance.

He said the medical officer checked and found he was already dead, while a Covid-19 test turned out negative.
Police was also informed by Jasliy’s family he had high blood pressure and that is the third time he had a stroke, he said, adding that initial investigation ruled out the possibility of any criminal element in this case.
