KENINGAU: Bingkor Assemblyman Datuk Robert Tawik urged two telecommunication companies - Maxis and Celcom - to take immediate steps to upgrade telephone lines around the Bingkor area.
He said he received many complaints from villagers regarding Maxis and Celcom’s mobile phone access system which is quite weak and makes it difficult for users to make phone connections, including surfing the internet to get current information.

“This matter has also been informed to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for immediate action but until now, the two companies have not shown any effort to solve this problem,” he told here.
